RACE NIGHT SUCCESS
Saturday 17th March, Leagrave Scout Group held a celebration of the Group's 56th Birthday with a fundraising Race Night. A group of around 60 parents, scouts and leaders were entertained by a compere from Racenight UK with 8 races, fun betting and a scrumptious buffet at the Royal British Legion from 7.30pm until the close at around 10.30pm. Lots of fun, betting, raffle, birthday cke and even an auction saw the group raise a massive £500 (approx) towards the group subsidising the visit to the County Camp at Scout HQ in Gilwell in early May.
A big thank you to all those who helped on the evening, those who joined in the celebration, fund raisers, Racenight UK and lastly sponsors on the night.
